The American Society of El Salvador

Our members love pickle relish on their hot dogs and cranberry sauce at Thanksgiving. When you live away from the US, there is always something you miss about it... Maybe it's listening to the Star Spangled Banner live a capella. Maybe you miss celebrating Thanksgiving with others. At times, you would like to chat with fellow Americans and feel like you're in the States for a short while.

That's why in the American Society we've been celebrating traditions since 1951! Come to one of the few Fourth of July parties or Thanksgiving dinners that you can find in El Salvador! We also hold receptions at the U.S. Ambassador´s residence.

Thanks to our generous Corporate Donors (ESSO, RASA, TACA, Hotel Sheraton Presidente), as well as the funds that we raise at these events, Salvadoran children get scholarships and are able to get a better future. Contact us to find out how you can help us give more scholarships.

We also collaborate with other organizations, to hold events and achieve goals together. Some of these organizations are: U.S. Embassy, FEPADE, Union Church of San Salvador, Peace Corps. We thank them for their help.
