The American Society of Jalisco
The American Society of Jalisco A.C. (AmSoc) is a private, non-profit organization, Asociación Civil. Membership is open to anyone interested in joining, regardless of nationality, culture, or religion.
AmSoc has been active for sixty years and is the major provider of information, services, and social contact for foreign residents, people who plan to retire in Mexico, and visitors to Guadalajara.
Our primary purpose is to serve the needs of the English-speaking community in the Guadalajara and surrounding areas.
AmSoc also seeks to establish a bridge between our community and our Mexican hosts in order to promote better understanding and mutual respect.
